The UMY Master of International Relations Study Program has approximately 98 students with the average GPA of 3.68 in the last three years. MIHI UMY alumni are required to have excellent competencies. As many as 90% of them have been absorbed in the field of work in accordance with KPT MIHI UMY, starting from Lecturers, Civil Servants (PNS), Politicians, Political Consultants, researchers, Entrepreneurs, and others.
MIHI’s leading areas of concentration are Diplomacy, International Cooperation, Conflict Resolution and Peace, and Islamic Political Thought. Master of International Relations (MIHI) Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta has a high commitment to building a good academic atmosphere that is conducive to the development of science. MIHI facilitates students with a number of activities that can support students’ academic experience and improve their abilities. International Student Conference on Humanity Issues (Iscohi) is an annual MIHI’s program that provides an academic forum for the students (national and international students) to disseminate the results of their research. MIHI UMY also holds monthly discussion forums (Monthly Seminars), namely MIHI Lecture Series, with various topics and experts in their fields.
